Clair de Lune, or CDL as we call her (yeah, we know, it's a dumb call name, but her dam is already "Claire" and "Looney" seemed worse) is a beautiful black girl with strong color genetics. She looks brown, possibly even maroon, in these pictures, but underneath those tips, she's dark and solid.
Her dam is maroon with silver and rose grey parents and her sire is a white full-Peruvian, 3/4-Accoyo son of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn.
Her fiber is fine with soft crimp.
She's well conformed and displays great presence in the field. She has a truly beautiful head and carriage and is one of the few alpaca that carries her neck in an elegant S-shape naturally.
She did 4H with our son last year and works well on a halter, she'll even jump things and can walk through doors and wading pools (just in case you ever need that).
