Annie is kind of past her photogenic prime, or maybe she never had one, we don't know :) But, boy!, does she breed up well!
Her offspring have been gorgeous rose greys with fantastic fleece. Annie herself has nice, solid chocolate coloring with black points and a white face that gives her a constantly impish look. Because of this coloring, she's capable of producing a wide range of colors. She has also retained her fineness well and is still under 23 micron.
She's a great mother and producer and would be a really solid addition to any color breeding program, especially one focused on fineness.
Annie also has a curious, dominant personality, which would make her a terrific foundation animal for a herd. Sheep breeders have the concept of "leadersheep"--sheep with more assertive and inquisitive natures that help their humans manage a herd. Annie and her daughter Pudding, both seem to possess these traits.
