We don't claim to have all the answers and this section isn't an encyclopedia of every alpaca issue. But, when you're thinking about getting into alpacas, some questions come up more often than others. We can share with you some of what we've learned--from other breeders, from other ag industries, and by pure trial and error--as well as some of the resources we continue to turn to when we have questions.

In fact, if we've learned anything, it's that there is no right answer to every question, and there's more than one way to shear an alpaca.
